Police Administration


The Assistant Chief plays a key role in the decision making process of the day to day operations and assignments of the Patrol Division. David reviews all paperwork turned in by the Patrol Division to make sure the paperwork has been completed properly. He acts as the Chief of Police in the absence of the Chief.


The Administrative Assistant of the Opp Police Department is responsible for the processing of all reports that are documented by Police Officers and distributes the reports to individuals who request copies of the reports. Each year Regina processes thousands of documents and video recordings and is the contact person for all Courts and Attorneys, including the District Attorney’s Office, for certified copies of records. She also handles all records involving NCIC (National Crime Information Center) and very sensitive and confidential matters regarding document processing.
