Veteran's Memorial Pool <\/h3>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Our Swimming Pool is located at Veterans Memorial Park at the corner of Park Ave. and Whaley St. The swimming pool offers a safe and relaxing atmosphere for everyone to enjoy. There will highly trained Lifeguards and 1 Pool Manager present at all times.<\/p>\n

The Pools open on the Tuesday following Memorial Day.\u00a0 Pool hours are from 10:00pm – 4:00pm Monday-Friday, Saturday 1:00pm-4:00pm Closed on Sundays.<\/p>

The City of Opp Splash Pad is situated at Donaldson Park, just opposite Veteran’s Memorial Pool. It’s an excellent spot for kids to cool off. Access to the splash pad is free of charge.<\/p>

Opp Sports Complex – Cameron Road<\/p>

This facility includes Baseball Fields, Softball Fields, Tennis Courts, and Walking Trail.<\/p>

The Parks and Recreation office is located at 1000 Cameron Road and can be reached by calling (334) 493-7970.<\/p>

It is the goal of the Department of Recreation to provide the children of Opp with the highest quality of recreation. The Department of Recreation offers facilities and programs for children of all ages to enjoy. These facilities and programs offer competition, exercise, and relaxation for kids and families of all ages to enjoy. The park entrance is located at 100 Jerry Adams Dr.<\/p>

Covering 2,050 acres, this park is renowned as a top fishing destination, thanks to its 1,000-acre stream-fed lake. Lake Jackson, the main attraction, offers excellent fishing and swimming opportunities along with shoreline picnic areas. The park also features lakefront RV camping sites with cable TV hookups and a modern bathhouse, making it an ideal camping spot. Additionally, there is a natural island with a boardwalk and walking path. Frank Jackson State Park includes a swimming area, picnic spots, a playground, and restrooms.<\/p>
