Business licenses<\/span> must be purchased each calendar year and are valid from January 1 to December 31. <\/p>\n

Full Year:<\/strong> Every person who commences business before the first day of July shall be subject to and shall pay the annual license fee.<\/p>\n

Half Year:<\/strong> Every person who commences business on or after July 1st, shall be subject to and shall pay one-half (1\/2) the annual license fee.<\/p>\n

Issue Fee:<\/strong> For each license issued there shall be an issuance fee collected of ten dollars.<\/p>\n

Annual Renewal:<\/strong> Business license<\/span> shall be renewed annually from January 1st until January 31st each year.<\/p>\n

Sales Tax Information:<\/strong> The sales tax rate in Opp is 10%. The tax is comprised of three separate taxes: 4% state, 2.5% county, and 3.5% City of Opp. RDS collects The City of Opp sales and use tax<\/span>, lodging tax, and gas tax.<\/p>\n
