The Human Resources Department is responsible for administering the City of Opp and the Opp Utilities Board Human Resources functions and services. This office develops and distributes policies and supervises adherence to policies, ensures compliance with federal and state laws and guidelines, maintains official personnel records, maintains job descriptions and manages employee benefits.
Job announcements will be posted on the City’ website (see link below), at the Opp Utilities Board Office, and within City and Utilities Board departments, as well as advertised in the local newspaper. Applications will be accepted only during the period of time in which the job posting is actively open. Applications can be picked up and returned or mailed to the location listed below. The Human Resources Department is open Monday thru Friday 8 am – 5 pm.
